Terms of Service

Welcome to House of Legends Publishing Co. ("House of Legends," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, consultations, Toolshed memberships, Shopify storefront, REAL Safety tools, and any other services we offer (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

House of Legends Publishing Co. is a Spokane, Washington–based publishing, consulting, and creative ecosystem. Creative Consults is a DBA of House of Legends Publishing Co.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an account or purchase a membership.

3. Memberships & billing

Legacy Membership is billed at $11.11 per month through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your member portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Active Legacy perks include: 25% off every item in the Toolshed, early sneak-peek access to new dropsbefore the public release, one complimentary gift on your birthday each year, and 25% off services, redeemable one time per calendar year. Perks remain active through the end of any paid period and reset annually on your sign-up anniversary (birthday gift requires a valid birthdate on file at least 14 days in advance).

We may change prices for future billing cycles with at least 14 days' notice sent to the email on file. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.

4. Products & consultations

Physical and digital products sold through the Toolshed are fulfilled through our Shopify storefront and governed by the shipping and availability terms shown at checkout. Consultations are scheduled by mutual agreement and are not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or mental-health care.

5. REAL Safety & free tools

REAL Safety and other free tools are provided for educational and reflective use. They are not crisis services. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including writing, designs, photography, frameworks, curricula, and the House of Legends crest — is owned by House of Legends Publishing Co. or licensed to us. You may share short excerpts with credit and a link. You may not republish, resell, or train machine-learning models on our work without written permission.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, attempt to bypass paywalls, harvest data, attack our infrastructure, or use our platforms to harass others or distribute unlawful content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that any specific outcome will result from a consultation, course, or tool.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, House of Legends Publishing Co. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington, unless required otherwise by applicable consumer-protection law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
